our story
Creating Senior Living Environments Attractive to All Ages
After first walking in the doors of a senior living facility more than 15 years ago, we quickly knew we would not want to visit most of these places, let alone live there; so, we created communities where older adults would not only love to live, but Thrive.
In fact, we aim to create communities that younger generations are jealous of.
Thrive is more than a company that builds facilities. In fact, around here, we refer to facilities as ‘the F Word’. We build communities where older adults come to live their best life. At Thrive, we’ve dedicated our lives to ensure there is purpose in every breath of each resident we’re honored to serve. We understand that older adults and their loved ones depend on us not only to live, but to live well. It’s a challenge we welcome – every day.
Investment Ethos
Thrive’s leadership believes that quality of life for seniors can be improved by seamlessly integrating the ‘built environment’ with world class operations management. We also believe our differentiated strategy is positioned for significant growth as 78 million baby boomers reach retirement age over the next 20 years.
It’s rare to find investment opportunities where you can ‘do well by doing good’. While generating attractive returns, our partners also help create environments where older adults can, in a word – Thrive.

Global
The desires of older adults worldwide are nuanced, but the core needs for engagement, respect, and purpose are universal. Thrive has expanded its influence through a joint venture in the United Kingdom that owns and operates twelve communities and is quickly growing. Additionally, Thrive (Through its subsidiary Thrive SL PTE Ltd in Singapore) is growing its footprint throughout Asia, including consulting engagements in Southeast Asia, and a new joint-venture management platform in Seoul, Korea. These regions, alongside others, present an opportunity for tremendous growth as populations age and traditions evolve.
